I never thought anything of Hugh Laurie... why is it he's so yummy in House?! Is it the American accent? Hmm. I was watching some episode at 1am last night on Hallmark. Also I just found out he's 46.. oh dear.

Moved into new house by the way, haha. Nice place!

Neighbours set was crap.
If anyone ever goes to Australia, don't ever go there.
We paid $30 to get on a bus and see the school behind a fence and trees.. so basically saw a building that could've been anything (We couldn't go in there or antyhing)
Then drove to the Television Studio, where we at least thought we could go have a look in! Nope! All we did was park outside for 5 minutes while the stupid driver was all oh yeah maybe a star will come out.. riiiiiight.
Then we drove to the street which is actually called Pine Oak Crescent and it seemed ALOT smaller than it does on TV! But we recognised four of the houses... the Bishops, the Hoylands, the Timmins and... erm.. oh yeah, Susan's house. It was cool to see where they filmed scenes, that was the only good bit about the stupid trip!
The most annoying thing is we could've done it ourselves! All we had to do was find out the street name and then driven there and not paid $30, grr!

We're going to an Aussie Rules football game tommorow, only cost $18 and we sit right behind one of the goals!

Got a few photos up on photobucket. not many though... I think altogether we've taken about 2,000 photos (I'm not joking) so get ready to sift thru a lot when I get them all up! Although I obviously won't put everything single photo up cos some of them are rubbish anyway. Go to photobucket and type in "aus2005" in the album link thing. There's not many up there at all but it's so boring putting them up.. I just gave up after a few!

I forgot I hadn't written anything about buying the stupid flight tickets. Silly me.
Bought them... er... on Friday 1st Oct.
Goes like this:

Flight to Hong Kong from London Heathrow is 11 hours 55 mins (13.05 London time --> 8am Hong Kong time)
Then have to wait in Hong Kong airport for an hour and get on the flight from there to Sydney which takes 10 hours 10 mins (9am HK time --> 9.10pm Sydney time) Funness all round I think. I do feel sorry for Shaun though, having to sit next to me for that length of time. God we're going to hate eachother after this trip!!

The way back is rubbish though, it's the same route but we have to wait in Hong Kong airport for 10 hours! (5am --> 3pm). Not a great thing I don't think as we're not allowed to leave the airport apparantly. I don't see how anyone would know though..?

So we leave on the 1st of April which is a Friday, I believe. And then come back on the 30th of June, whatever day that is.

Actual return flight cost £513 (cheapest one) + Airtax of £104 :( + Travel insurance £100 = £717. Pretty good I reckon.

Found out that Phil and Ben are going Around the world and have one of those rtw tickets for £1000something or other. But good news is they stop off in Oz for a while so maybe we can meet up with them.

I dyed my hair black yesterday! wooop. Had to use two dyes tho cos Shaun & Elysia fucked it up the first time, and I ended up with gay bits of blonde everywhere. So we bought another one and I did it myself (today). Yesterday I thought I looked completly stupid but now I think I look alright, makes me want to dye it more now :D
Shall put some photos up in a minute, don't know why I don't just write this when I have photos to put up but I dunno I'm bored.

I had a bizarre dream about Matt Bellamy last night, I always get ones of people like that when I'm least expecting it, and then when I try to dream about them it doesn't work damnit. Anyway, so we were in a bus, and he was telling me I had to read this book called treehouse of horrors and I said isn't that in the Simpsons? And he said yeah I created them, didn't you know? Then he showed me a copy of the book and it had a picture of him on it with green hair. I took it, and then that was it. Crap or what. Not as good as the only other one I've had of him, ages ago, when his car broke down outside my house and he decided to stay for a week but he never spoke to me until the end when he whispered something but now I can't remember what it was.

Finally managed to work out how to upload the digicam pics onto the computer! Pretty random photos, some from last night but the only one that you can make out is Tutte, I think that was before we went into Route. Got verry drunk, can't remember much from Route, apparantly I fell over (thankgod only Shaun and Tutte saw me!!) and now I have a sprained ankle, it's quite mild though, doesn't hurt that much anymore unless I put pressure on the side. It's swollen though, looks really icky.
I'm not going to drin that much again, I hate being at that state where you can't remember things, it's stupid. So if I go to Route on Monday again (probably will) then I'll just have water or maybe one drink - definately not getting THAT drunk again!

Tommorow I'm going to Wimbledon cos it's someone's birthday, can't remember who though. I hope Katy'll be there, I haven't seen her for ages! And I can get sympathy from her about my ankle, yay (I might leave out the part abuot it being my fault!)

Digital heaven

Got a digital camera today, yay!
Is a Goodmans something or other.. I dunno the technical details, I don't really care, I just wanted one that looked cool and wasn't too cheapy or too expensive. It cost £65 but down from £80 so I thought it would be okay. Spent about 20 minutes debating with myself whether to get that one or this other one, can't remember the make, but it looked smaller and flashier and cost £15 more. Obviously I ended up going for the cheaper one because, well, it was cheaper!
So I'm going to take some random photos later. I mainly bought it so I could take it along with me tommorow for Stu's 21st. I'll hide it and whip it out when they're all too drunk to care, hahaha.
Oh and Pic don't think you can hide from my digicam either, I'm taking it with me on your 18th as welll!!

Went to Route Monday night again, god I love that place :D. Spent too much money on liquid refreshments though, tsk. I think I ended up buying 4 double vodka's and red bull and 1 single vodka and red bull (only cos the guy misheard me). Managed to find Courtney again, wooo. He was a hit with the ladies last night.. struttin his stuff and crap. Oooh and also found David! Good ol dave from the st edmunds days. And he goes to Portsmouth Uni, yay, everyone's going there. Well most people are, apart from some smelly ones.

Went to STA Travel today with Shaun, we were meant to come out going yeah we know what we're doing now, but didn't cos we haven't got the flights booked yet cos Shaun is lame and can't afford it till Friday 1st Oct. Sooo, gotta wait till then to actually book anything. And I'm getting worried about the ISIC card, because you need to be a full time student, and I'm... not. But I still have my trusty NUS card and it says 2003 - 2004 so maybe the travel agent will accept it. I'm guessing it's not that hard cos Aidan managed to get one and he wasn't a full time student at the time.
Oh yeah and after that we went to Ottakars, my favey place :D, had a mango frescato thing, and it made my throat freeze up, it really hurt :'(.

Then I came home and spent a nice evening with Christian, cos my mum went out, we watched Peter Pan (the new one with that American kid playing Peter...which just doesn't make any sense, but anyway), that was fun. I'm such a sucker for family movies, always end up getting emotional!

Hmm.. anyway, I think I'm now going to go off to my bed and read my Bridget Jones' Diary 2 book, and listen to that damn Green Day album till I get sick of it.

Hmm, I just got back from town and I feel really knackered.. It's only like 2 miles there and back, maybe 3, but I used to cycle a lot more than that a day. I think I'm getting unfit... bad me.

Anywho I was at the market thing and bought these stupid black trousers for £15 and I don't know why. I'm so dumb sometimes. But the guy was asking me if I was from Bristol (?) and I said no I'm originally from Scotland and he was like "oh yeah there it is!" (seems to be when I say I'm from Scotland then people can suddenly hear my accent perfectly, whereas before they're not quite sure where it's from). It's weird but I still like it when people ask me where I'm from :D Makes me feel special, hehe. I'm glad I still have my accent even though I've been living in the South for like 7 years or something.

Muse tape has 1 bid so far (4 days left), but it has 12 watchers. I'm hoping it'll get to about £25 at least.

Oooh I watched Super Size Me the other day. Really gross. And combined with me feeling unfit then my brain's gone right no more fatty foods for you, exercise every day yada yada. I'm definately gonna stay away from McDonalds though. I don't really go in there much anyway, it's normally only on the Friday that I go to my dad's (once a month) and that's only cos Duncan doesn't want to go anywhere else, and of course what Duncan wants...

Anyway, yeah. Should be going to Route tonight, which is good, I haven't gone there for 2 weeks! I miss it. I only have £15 to spend so I'll have to just get double vodkas with red bull. Waahey!

I was gonna write in this last night but I fell asleep. Oh well. So I've practically finished editing the Muse Live Performances tapes, they were meant to be finished aaaaaages ago but I just couldn't be arsed. I'm gonna list one of them up first and see how much it goes for, then do it buy it now for the rest of them, based on that price.

I'm going to my dad's this afternoon, till Sunday. It'll be good cos Duncan's going from London and I haven't seen him in a while, and I miss all the arguments :(. Aidan's not much of a substitute, he doesn't argue as well, plus he smells too much, I feel sorry for the guy he has to share his halls room with...!
I hope mum finds a stupid job soon, and it better be in London so Duncan can move back in cos it's crap with just me and Christian, there's no drama..

I wish I was back at college, I miss having a timetable and having specific times to go in and stuff. I even miss having revision to do. Cos it always used to be.. ooh I'm so bored, there's nothing to do.. maybe I should do some revision.. nooo don't do that, revision sucks! But now it's just, yeah I'm bored...

God my mum just came in and started going on me not giving her any money for bills and stuff. She never used to be like this, it's only cos she has no job so she's all moody ALL THE TIME instead of just occasionally. Although she was happy yesterday cos of the prospect of that job near Wimbledon, I wouldn't mind that cos we'd be close to Nana & Pupa's house and I know someone who lives in Mitcham which is quite near. But yeah, cos she has no money then she has a go at me. Well sorrrry but I have to save all the money I have for Australia! And Uni! I mean it's not like it's gonna be cheap... I already have £1,800 but I need at least £3,500 for the trip (3 months) so I can't just go giving her money all the time. And that's not including Uni money... Aidan had £7,000 from his job at that electronic shop and he used £3,000 on his Europe trip so he has £4,000 for uni..
Oh well hopefully by the time I go to uni mum will have a job and be happy and generous and help me out!

Aidan just left to go to Wimbledon. He's going there so that him and Duncan can go to Dad's when Duncan finishes school. I feel a bit sad that I'm gonna be going on the train on my own, cos normally it's me and Duncan, but now that he's enroled in Wimbledon College then he's going from there to Cardiff. Oh well, 3 hour journey on my own, at least I'll have the new Greenday and Libertines albums for company. I bet I'll get some fat smelly person sat next to me though :(

GRRR. I just wrote a whole journal entry and updated it, but then the computer went crap and I lost it!! This happens all the time with emails... it's so annoying !

Well I just finished reading Pic's Reading (as in festival) account .. man that was LONG! It's funny to read it in someone else's view though. Funny that I don't remember some of it - but seeing as she's striaght edge and I'm .. not, I guess that's understandable! Plus me not remember anything from the point we went to get firewood on Saturday night (and Pete doing backflips) to when I woke up on the Sunday morning probably had something to do with it!!

I'm just listening to Greenday's new album at the moment and it is SO good! I'm really glad I saw them at Reading (best band there, definately!! 2nd best was probably Funeral for a Friend, 3rd was Kasabian) because otherwise I don't think I would've bought this. I just loved their set, and the way they did stuff, so much that it persuaded me to buy this. Plus I'm totally in love with track 3 :D And American Idiot is like my "Reading song" because whenever I hear it it reminds me of Reading :D.

Oh breakthrough news - I took my wristband off today. :(. I'm quite upset because I was torn with whether to do it or not, the reason being that if I didn't then the writing would fade away completly (it's already practically unreadable now) so I'd be left with a pink band.. but I also wanted it on cos I wanted to beat Pic's record! But I guess I can't now cos it's off. Although I might just melt it back together again, or superglue it or something, but what's the point cos it won't be the same as keeping it on the whole time. Oh welllllll
